Pierre Dasilva was born on May 9th in Georgetown, Guyana.

Dasilva embarked on his musical journey at the tender age of 13 as a DJ on his family's sound system. He quickly became a familiar face at neighborhood and family parties, where his passion for music took root. This early exposure to the vibrant sounds of dancehall and reggae laid the foundation for his songwriting and singing career.

Upon relocating to Barbados, Dasilva continued to nurture his musical talents, making a name for himself on the local and regional DJ circuit. It was during this period that he discovered a profound love for soca music. His debut soca single, "Mad, Mad," catapulted him to the finals of the Guyana Soca Monarch competition, marking the beginning of a successful career in the genre.

Throughout the years, Dasilva has consistently honed his craft, releasing a series of popular tracks including "Wine on You," "Come Inside," "Push Way," "This Carnival," and "Balance." His dedication and talent culminated in his biggest achievement to date: winning the People's Choice Award in 2023 with his hit single "Freedom at Last," featuring Chrissy D. This victory earned him a coveted performance spot on the big stage during Barbados' CropOver Summer Festival.
